The purpose of ICES is to carry out ethnographic studies in global contexts and report those findings in order to increase cross-cultural awareness. ICES is a non- profit organization established to provide necessary resources to accomplish these studies. The Center seeks and invites ethnographers, sociologists, anthro- pologists, and cultural researchers to conduct these studies across the globe, designating them Research Associates of ICES.
